Sweet treat: Nicole Richie took her three-year-old daughter Harlow for ice cream in West Hollywood yesterday

If Nicole Richie had been told five years ago that she would be spending her days looking after two children and going for play dates she probably would have laughed.

But the former wild child turned doting mother continues to show how effortlessly she has taken to being a parent and spent a fun day out with her three-year-old daughter Harlow yesterday.

The duo stopped at a West Hollywood ice cream store to pick up a sweet treat which the little girl relished.

Nicole, 29, looked summer chic in a mini floral dress which she paired with a sleeveless denim jacket and black wedge sandals.

Her mini me also wore a dress covered in flowers and daintily carried her cup of ice cream which she ate as she walked.

Inside the store Richie also tucked into a cup of ice cream and chatted with a friend who also came along for the outing.

Earlier this year Nicole was forced to deny reports she was expecting her third child when she was seen leaving a gym near her Los Angeles home with something a slight bump under her workout T-shirt.

But Nicole slammed the report that she and rocker husband Joel Madden, 32, were expecting again, and said it was simply a change in her body shape.

She told celebrity website Gossip Cop: 'Contrary to recent speculation I am not pregnant.'

What Was Topless Nicole Richie Celebrating in Cabo?

Paris Hilton was detained in Japan and Lindsay Lohan has a warrant out for her arrest, but life's a beach for their former BFF Nicole Richie.

The hot mama, who turns 30 today, was celebrating South of the Border in a bikini bottom and not much else. She was joined by famous friends Christina Aguilera and Sam Ronson in Cabo, and she may have been celebrating more than just her birthday...

While having dinner at a local restaurant, Nic was spotted wearing a "bride-to-be" sash and necklace adorned with plastic penises.

Was this trip also a bachelorette party?

Nicole's rep didn't respond to our request for comment on what exactly she was celebrating, but either way, happy birthday!

Nice to see the former wild child is staying out of trouble but can still cut loose!

Lighting can be very dramatic and back lighting can be the most intriguing type of lighting.

We can readily see the effect of strong back lighting as we observe Nicole Richie white full length maxi dress being turned into a semi transparent piece by the strong backlighting of the sun.

Richie takes on a goddess quality as her white maxi dress is turned semi tranparent by the strong sunlight.

Her outfit is accessorized with black Christian Louboutin high heels and giant sunglasses.

Anna Faris in sexy black gown

The pregnant reality TV star is expecting her second child and is also planning a maternity clothing line.

Richie looks good in any light but especially in strong backlight.

Anna Faris on the Red Carpet

At the premier of the movie Observe and Report at the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood California actress Anna Faris wore a long black maxi length gown.

The strapless gown had a three layer cut out tearing in the front.

Farris co-stared in the comedy movie Observe and Report which opened on Friday.

Faris is probably best knon for her roles in the Scary Movie horror film spoofs and her role last year as a Shelly, a Playboy bunny, who is tossed out of the mansion and end up in a girls sorority as The House Bunny, in a movie with the same title.

Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice in a Tree???

It's not easy being green but Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice pulls it off.

In what could only be described as a mini tree - dress, Victoria is in full bloom as she urges hubby David Beckham on.

Just wondering if the green leaves turn colors and fall off in the fall.

You can catch some more pics of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham and Victoria Beckham green mini tree, I mean dress.

Well it's not easy being green, is it???

Christina Ricci and her hair stylist in a green wig???

And, when it comes to greens wigs, well, what can I say.

Yes, I do see the resemblance in the hairdo.

In fact, I kind of prefer the green look. Just kidding - not!!!

Jennifer Lopez "JLo" in a Green Mini Dress

Anyway, you can see more pictures of Christina Ricci at the "Women's Guild 50th Anniversary Gala" this past Sunday in Beverly Hills.

Well, it's not easy to be green.

Just ask Jennifer Lopez in this green mini skirt that she wore at her fashion show during Fashion Week New York Spring 2008.

The dress caused a lot of speculation - was it concealing a little baby bump?

Nicole Richie in a Green Bikini

Well, rumors of Jennifer Lopez pregnancy were up in the air again.

But, now you can read the rumors on Jlo baby bump.

It's not easy being green.

Speaking of babies, pregnancy and green, embracing this triple header - trifecta look is Nicole Richie.

Her baby bump is certainly showing but she looks great with the extra weight.
