Socialite Paris Hilton was refused entry into Japan where she was scheduled to promote her fashion range after she admitted of cocaine possession before a Las Vegas court.
The immigration officers refused to let the 29-year-old socialite into the country. She was quizzed at Tokyo's Narita airport for six hours before being placed at the Airport Rest House.
"Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn't want to let down her brands and many Asian fans," thesun.co.uk quoted her spokeswoman as saying.
"She is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control. She is very disappointed," the spokeswoman added.
Just hours before her visit, Hilton appeared in the Las Vegas court and pleaded guilty of possessing cocaine and obstructing a policeman. She was given a 12-month suspended jail term.

So, first Paris Hilton was claiming those drugs which just fell out of a handbag she was holding was 'too cheap' to be something she'd own (but she'd use someone else's lipgloss out of it, obviously) but now it looks as though she's finally admitted to it…
The pink and fluffy princess has pleaded guilty in a Las Vegas court to drug possession and obstructing a public officer after she was pulled over by police in Las Vegas on 27 August this year, and cocaine was found in her handbag. We mean, the handbag that she was holding, the she'd posted a picture of on Twitter, but wasn’t actually hers.
Anyway, she's backtracked on that and as part of a plea deal she has accepted responsibility for the drug offence, and in return she has not received a prison sentence. Lovely.
She will have to fork out $2,000 and carry out 200 hours of community service though, and she was even warned that if she is arrested for anything again she could face up to a year in the Clark County Detention Centre. Yikes.
Let's hope Paris cleaners herself up better than young miss Lohan shall we?
The Hilton heiress is wooing the actress to be Asian brand ambassador for her clothing line
Paris Hilton Fashions (PHF) has approached Kangna to be its Asian brand ambassador -- a first for an Indian actress.
Says an insider, "The brand carries Paris' signature style -- fun, flashy, bright. Kangna was short listed because of her edgy approach to fashion. She is considered to be a stylish girl who experiments, takes risks and sets trends."

The brand researched her films, her approach to clothes, her image etc. before zeroing in on her. It's a good time for the actress. After the success of her latest flick Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, she has been offered a whopping amount to endorse PHF.
Says a source close to the actress, "Nothing is final as yet and if Kangna signs it, it will be her first international fashion brand."
Earlier she has endorsed other clothing brands, including a leading international denim wear but that was limited to India only. At some point Kangna also aspires to start her own clothing line which will be a reflection of her persona.

Paris Hilton’s mom Kathy has said that her famous daughter had once almost gave into the temptation of getting breast implants. However, Kathy confessed that she was really glad when Paris decided otherwise.

Socialite Paris Hilton is said to have had a horrific row with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt on Halloween after he tossed her cellphone out of their limousine.
The two were enjoying the annual costume party thrown by Heidi Klum and Seal on October 31, but after they left the event, they allegedly became embroiled in a furious row as they got into their car.

Paris Hilton's mother was shocked when she watched her daughter's documentary because the makers included scenes from the socialite's infamous sex tape. Kathy said it was "hard" for them to see it.
The hotel heiress is the focus of "Paris, Not France", a behind-the-scenes movie about the star's life that was made three years ago.
The picture premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this year and will make its TV debut in America Tuesday.
Hilton's mother Kathy watched the documentary at a preview screening, but she wasn't prepared to see footage of her eldest daughter engaging in sex acts with ex-lover Rick Salomon in the notorious 2003 video "One Night In Paris".
"I didn't know (the sex tape) was going to be in it. It's very tough. I can't believe they kept that part in there. I thought they kept that part out. It's very hard for us to watch," Kathy told E! Online.
