Lady Gaga calls in police after thousands of fans' personal details are stolen from website

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Composed: Lady Gaga looks glamorous and calm as she arrives at LAX today

Lady Gaga has called in police after her website was hacked, resulting in the theft of thousands of names and email addresses.

Her U.K. site was hacked into by US cyber attackers SwagSec, prompting her record label Universal to take urgent action.

A source told the Mirror newspaper: 'She’s upset and hopes police get to the bottom of how this was allowed to happen.'

Hacked: Lady Gaga's official website

However, the 25-year-old contained all this inner turmoil under an unusually elegant facade as she arrived at LAX today, though by the time she had arrived in New York, it was back to business as usual.

Wearing a long-lace dress, a Gothic Gaga growled at the cameras, perhaps betraying her real feelings after a spate of fresh controversy.

Earlier she'd left Sydney wearing a typically ostentatious rubber outfit, which must've proved too uncomfortable to travel in, even for her.

The cyber attack happened on June 27 but those responsible didn't make the information public until this week.

Run of the mill: Gaga leaves Sydney in a typical outfit

A death threat was also issued against the singer, and the gang then outrageously branded the singer homophobic.

Gaga recently hit back at claims that she's exploiting her gay fan-base, calling suggestions 'ridiculous.'

Universal said yesterday: 'The hackers took a content database dump from www.ladygaga.co.uk and a section of email, first name and last name records were accessed. There were no passwords or financial information taken.'

From Gaga to a Lady: Singer transforms herself mid-flight

By Andrea Magrath

Lady: Singer Lady Gaga arrives in Los Angeles from Sydney looking elegant in a moody yet feminine outfit

She's never been one to adhere to the usual comfortable in-flight clothing most passengers travel in.

But after boarding her flight out of Sydney wearing a leather gown and enormous floppy hat with a peekaboo hole, Lady Gaga's appearance as she arrived at LAX looked downright normal.

The singer emerged from her flight in Los Angeles looking elegant and feminine in a form-fitting dress, pantyhose and heels after changing mid-flight.

Gaga looked rather sombre compared to her usual taste in the moody get-up, which included towering Christian Louboutin heels, a hat and Louis Vuitton case.

She looked like she was emulating the clichéd look of a Mafia wife with the black outfit, long red talons and oversize sunglasses.

It is a rare sight for fans to see the 25-year-old in such regular clothing; the bizarre get-up she wore leaving Australia was far more commonplace in Gaga's wardrobe.

Rare sight: It is not often fans see Gaga looking so normal

The singer looked a little glum after her long-haul flight, despite telling her 11 million Twitter followers that she's landed to the exciting news that her Monster Ball concert special had been nominated for five Emmy awards.

The past 24 hours haven't been all positive though. The singer's account on YouTube has been shut down after she allegedly breached copyright laws.

Gaga's account, which has received a staggering 1.6 billion views, is currently creating fans with the message: 'This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's copyright policy.'

Gaga: the Born This Way hitmaker left Sydney wearing a bizarre leather dress and enormous floppy hat

According to Time Out Tokyo, it was the video that Gaga posted of her performance on Fuji TV programme SMAP x SMAP in Japan that caused the breach.

In addition, Lady Gaga is currently the target of disability groups who are outraged by her use of a wheelchair as a prop during her Sydney show this week.

During the performance at Sydney Town Hall, Gaga wheeled herself on stage to sing her song You and I. She has previously used a wheelchair in the music video for Paparazzi.

Drama: Lady Gaga is currently at the centre of two controversies, involving her use of a wheelchair as a prop and also a YouTube copyright allegation

In a statement to RadarOnline, Jesse Billauer, founder of the Life Rolls On Foundation, fumed: 'I haven’t seen Lady Gaga’s performance, but respect her artistic expression as an artist.

Since this isn’t the first time she has used a wheelchair in her performances, I invite her to learn more about the 5.6 million Americans who live with paralysis.

'I extend a personal invitation to Lady Gaga to attend one of our Life Rolls On events where quadriplegics and paraplegics surf, skate, and snowboard, so she can see how much is possible beyond a wheelchair.

'Maybe that will be most shocking to her of all. They, like me, unfortunately, don’t use a wheelchair for shock value.'

Has Lady Gaga finally taken things too far? Singer is slammed by disability groups after performing on stage in a wheelchair

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Artistic or a wheely bad joke? Lady Gaga comes on stage in a wheelchair during her concert at the Sydney Town Hall in Australia last night

She has been criticised for her use of religious symbolism, slammed for some of her song lyrics and had animal rights groups up in arms over her meat dress.

But Lady Gaga might have pushed her critics over the edge last night after she came on stage in Australia in a wheelchair.

The able-bodied star has caused outrage among disability groups after she wheeled herself on in front of 1,000 people at the Sydney Town Hall.

Outrage: But this was not the first time Gaga had used a wheelchair as a prop - and she wasn't the first star to do so either

Six songs into the ten song set, Gaga went off for a costume change and came on in a wheelchair wearing a PVC mermaid tail before launching into her single You And I.

But although her fans went crazy for the performance, it was met with disapproval from some disability organisations and advocacy groups.

In a statement to RadarOnline, Jesse Billauer, founder of the Life Rolls On Foundation, fumed: 'I haven’t seen Lady Gaga’s performance, but respect her artistic expression as an artist.

That's torn it: Gaga arrived at Sydney Airport with what looked like a huge rip in her black and white floppy straw hat

Bye bye my Little Monsters: Gaga is besieged by eager fans as she left her Sydney hotel

Having failed to make a comment about her wheelchair stunt, Gaga jetted out of Sydney this morning.

And unlike other stars on long-haul flights who opt for comfy clothes for the journey, Gaga left the country in a black leather dress and towering Louboutin heels.

But it was her hat that stood out as she got out of her car and made her way to the terminal blowing kisses to her fans.

The huge black and white straw hat appeared to have a huge rip in it, which she looked out of as she walked through the airport.

Little Monsters! Lady Gaga gets eggs thrown at her as she leaves a club in Sydney after night of partying

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Mobbed: Lady Gaga got swarmed by fans as she left a nightclub in Sydney, Australia last night

She is used to fans screaming and cheering her name, desperate to get close enough to touch her.

But last night Lady Gaga was the victim of some much more negative attention.

The singer had eggs thrown at her as she tried to leave the ARQ night club in Sydney, Australia, after a night of partying.

Good night: Gaga smiled as she made her way back to the car accompanied by a team of bodyguards

Despite the crazy situation, which didn't actually see the 25-year-old get hit by the projectiles,Gaga maintained her composure and kept a big smile on her face as she was escorted through the crowd to a waiting car.

However, one man in the crowd was in fact hit by and egg.

The Born This Way singer rocked a risqué black leather outfit which left little to the imagination as she spent the night bar-hopping in the Australian city.

Daring Down Under: Lady Gaga is a surreal vision in a monochrome outfit - with matching buns - as she jets in to Australia

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Black and white beauty: Lady Gaga struts across the runway at Sydney Airport in a monochrome creation after landing in Australia

It's not like Lady Gaga to make a subtle and quiet entrance.

And this morning was no exception for the star as she touched down in Sydney, Australia in a black and white creation that only she could pull off with daring aplomb.

The Born This Way star was a surreal vision in a long figure-hugging white dress with puffed sleeves.

Watch your step! Gaga steadily navigates her way down the private jet's steps in her towering platform heels

She teamed the stunning frock with her trademark towering platform heels, white rimmed sunglasses and elbow-length black gloves.

She had also done her hair to match her outfit in black and white buns on top of her head as she waved at fans as she strutted across the tarmac.

And as soon as she arrived, she took to her Twitter page and wrote: 'Just landed in Australia! I'm so happy to be back. Can't wait to perform my new album at Monsterhall! I missed this beautiful place so much.'

Grand arrival: Gaga makes it to the bottom of the stairs - with a bouncer on standby at the bottom - before posing by the plane for the cameras

And ever the pop superstar, Gaga was whisked through the airport and straight to a black limo that took her to the city's Four Seasons Hotel.

Gaga is in Australia to promote her new album Born This Way and to perform a one-off, private concert at Sydney Town Hall for 1,000 lucky guests this coming Wednesday.

Fans had to enter a special draw through Facebook to win tickets for the show, which is reported to be costing £700,000 to stage, and post a picture showing how much they love Gaga.

The singer has hired Sydney decorator Alex Zabotto-Bentley to create a series of rooms for the VIP area and green rooms, but when asked about what they would look like, he told the press he has been sworn to secrecy.

The singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, will also be taking in some sightseeing while she is Down Under.

But she will also use her time there to promote the album and reports in Australia have suggested that A Current Affair's Tracy Grimshaw has managed to land the first interview with the singer to be broadcast live on Monday night.

Gaga for The Simpsons? Singer takes inspiration from Marge, opting for a giant neon green conehead like animated star

By NADIA MENDOZA

Don't topple over: Lady Gaga steps out in her wackiest hairstyle to date, with a pair of strange sunglasses, at Singapore press conference

She certainly wasn't Born This Way, but Lady Gaga has taken inspiration from kooky animated character Marge Simpson.

The Paparazzi singer showcased a giant green conehead during a press conference in Singapore, ahead of her concert at the Marina Bay Sands.

Her neon hairdo appeared to weigh her down, with the 25-year-old reclining on a sofa for the duration of the event.

Although, judging from her footwear, her diva demands to stay seated on a leather throne may have largely been due to her heel-less platforms.

The New Yorker tottered along in gravity-defying shoes, decorated with metal studs, a beige PVC wedge and plastic casing.

She teamed the hair and shoes with an ill-fitting dress that appeared to be made from cheap felt and raided from a dressing-up box.

The shapeless item - along with her white gloves - were also reminiscent of fictional characters, this time instead of Springfield inhabitants though, it was Toy Story's Mr Potato Head and Disney's Mickey Mouse.

During her conference, Gaga looked happy and in high spirits with plenty of smiles and posing.

But when she was awarded with a plaque in recognition of her digital album and CD sales from the President of Universal Music Group International, Sandy Monteiro, she looked decidedly bored.

Notably, she had to stand to accept the prize so perhaps she was struggling to stay upright in the enormous platforms.

Earlier this week, the popstar, real name Stefani Germanotta, stepped out again in typically unsuitable daily attire.

Gaga opted for another pair of towering shoes and a black lace cat suit as she headed to a yoga studio in Taiwan.

Lady Gaga gets some competition in the fashion stakes from a colourful group of children in Taiwan

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Colourful crew: Lady Gaga blends in with her little Taiwanese fans as she is welcomed to the country by a stripey bunch of children

She is known for her outlandish and colourful outfits.

But Lady Gaga was given a run for her money yesterday in the fashion stakes - by a group of children.

The pop star was in Taiwan, her first visit to the country, as part of her tour of the Far East, and was greeted by the youngsters at a welcoming ceremony.

The indigenous children, who come from the Tai Ya tribe in eastern Taiwan, looked adorable in their red stripey outfits, blue shorts and headbands as they arrived to celebrate 'Lady Gaga Day'.

Just dance: Gaga waved her hands ion delight as the children showed off their moves

But it was their faces that made them really stand out as they showed off painted on beards in a criss cross pattern.

The singer, dressed in a red trouser suit with leopard print arms, matching bag and towering heels, looked delighted with her welcome party as they children danced and sang for her at the ceremony.

You're so cute: The pop star looked rather taken with the children

The ceremony, which took place in Taichung, saw the singer presented with a key to the city by Mayor Jason Hu, a brush painting of herself by local artist Chen Hua, and a dance presentation by the group of children.

She was also presented with a necklace from the children and said the gifts were 'so overwhelmingly, thoughtful and generous.'

She added: 'I will cherish them forever and I will always remember today. I would just like to tell you that you did a beautiful job in that performance. And you are so young and full of life.'

Little Monsters: Gaga and her new fans huddle in together for a group hug
The 25-year-old is in Taiwan for five days and last night she performed for 6,000 people at Taichung City's Fulfillment Amphitheater.

Today she was presented with more gifts and yet another warm welcome as she arrived in Taipei.

She was awarded a specially presented three disc souvenir of her new album Born This Way and a hand-painted paper lantern from 90-year-old folk art maestro Wu Dun-hou, which was adorned with a dragon, a colorful map of Taiwan and words of blessing.

It's Gagapanda! Lady Gaga tries out an animal new look on Japanese TV... but did she think she was in China?

Gagapanda: Lady Gaga tries out a new style on Japanese TV yesterday

When visiting a foreign country it is of course polite to pay tribute to their culture.

But, despite naming Japan as one of her favourite places, Lady Gaga may have mixed up their native animals.

The singer appeared on Japanese television dressed as a panda - native animal of China.

Whether she thought she was paying tribute to Japan, or whether the 25-year-old just had a whim to become 'Gagapanda' is unclear.

The Born This Way singer arrived on the show in a black and white outfit with her hair in two buns and wearing sunglasses.

She kept the glasses on a for a minute to build suspense as the hosts complimented her on her outlandish ensemble, before dramatically removing them to reveal her heavy black eye make-up.

Animal instinct: The singer said she 'likes pandas and has been eating a lot of bamboo this week' as explanation for her outfit

'I really like pandas,' she declared. 'Pandas have paws, and I always tell my fans to put their paws up. I've been eating a lot of bamboo this week.'

Later in the program Gaga listed 'one day having panda babies' as one of her dreams.
She has also started referring to herself as Gagapanda on Twitter.

With the help of a translator, the hitmaker answered a round of questions from the excitable presenters, about her love of cooking, keeping her clothes after she wears them, and her fears (missing her family).

'You know pandas are Chinese right?' Gaga chats with the talk show presenters

While in Japan Gaga has slammed the claims that she profited from wristbands she sold through her website to aid tsunami victims in the country.

After raising money for the survivors of the earthquake by selling $5 wristbands, the singer faces a lawsuit over claims that she added an unnecessary sales tax and a $3.99 shipping charge to the red and white 'We Pray for Japan' bracelets.

But an spokesman for the star, who is currently touring Japan, today labelled the lawsuit 'misguided.'

Fighting back: The 25-year-old has slammed the claims that she profited from the sales of her charity wristbands to aid Japanese tsunami victims

'This misguided lawsuit is without merit and unfortunately takes attention away from the kind deeds of the fans around the world who are supporting the people of Japan,' said the singer's spokesman Holly Shakoor.

'The entire five dollar donation made with the purchase of each bracelet is going to support the disaster relief,' she added. 'No profit is being made on shipping costs. Sales tax charges were made in accordance with local legal requirements.

'Lady Gaga has personally pledged her own funds to this cause and continues to support the victims of the disaster.'

Hurtful: Gaga's representatives have said the lawsuit launched against her over the claims is 'without merit'

Gaga has been sued under her real name of Stefani Germanotta under charges normally used to fight racketeering.

Live Nation Merchandising, Universal Music and a number of Gaga’s business ventures have also been named too.

The lawsuit, filed at the U.S Federal Court in Detroit, states that they all used a ‘deceptive advertising campaign’ and a ‘pattern of racketeering’ to persuade the public to buy the wristband from Gaga’s official website.

The court papers state they ‘misrepresented to individuals and to the public at large...that ‘all proceeds’ derived from the wristbands would be donated to the (Japan) Relief Effort’.

Lady Gaga sued for charity scam

Lady Gaga sued for charity scamLady Gaga has been accused of pocketing proceeds from the sales of 'We Pray for Japan' wristbands and the bizarre singer is now facing legal action.

Michigan Law firm 1-800-LAW-FIRM has slapped a $5 million lawsuit against Gaga, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"I'm suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for," said Ari Kresch, an attorney for the firm.

Firm partner Alyson Oliver claimed that Gaga refused to fully disclose how much of the money from the sales of the wristbands goes to the Japanese victims.

"When we tried to communicate with the defendants in this lawsuit, all we got was, 'well, some of the money is being retained, but we don't really know how much'," Oliver told FOX news station.

"If the money was going to the right place rather than into the defendant's pocket, then I hope that our effort helps that," Oliver added.

Born again (for the third time)... Lady Gaga hatches from another egg-like cocoon during the MuchMusic Video Awards

By CHRIS JOHNSON

Suspend your belief: Lady Gaga emerges from a hanging cocoon during rehearsals for the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada

Could Lady Gaga be running out of ideas for her stage shows?

The pop superstar emerged from a cocoon during her performance at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada this weekend, a stunt she has pulled twice already.

Gaga, 25, was at the event to perform some of her recent hits, including Edge Of Glory, and to pick up two awards.

Just hanging around: The cocoon was suspended in the air

She entered the stage via the egg-like cocoon, just as she did at the Grammy Awards in February this year - she also popped out of a chamber during a performance on Saturday Night Live late last month.

Doing it for real: Gaga on stage during the actual awards show

This time however the contraption was suspended above the ground, whereas the previous two crysalis-esque devices were laid down horizontally on the ground.

For the duration of her appearance on the Canadian awards show, Gaga remained relatively covered up in comparison to her usual outrageous get up.

Similar entrance: The superstar singer popped out of an egg-like contraption at the Grammy awards in February

By Lady Gaga standards, her ensembles were positively demure.

In fact the Queen of shocktastic fashion and barely-there outfits turned out to the ceremony with much more material per square inch than usual.

Despite changing into an array of outfits, the 25-year-old singer kept relatively covered up - which was perhaps something to do with the slightly fuller figure she was seen to be sporting as she arrived.

Paunch: Lady Gaga revealed a slightly fuller figure as she arrived the the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada tonight in a tight LBD teamed with dominatrix-style boots

Making an entrance: The singer opened the show with a performance on Edge of Glory, staying relatively covered up in a bejewelled catsuit

The Edge of Glory star, who won two awards at the event, turned up at the ceremony in Toronto, Canada, in a form-fitting little black dress which showed a more curvy shape around her midsection.

Last year Gaga's former tour manager, David Ciemny, claimed that the star would starve herself to fit into her revealing stage outfits.

He alleged the singer would go on unhealthy food binges before barely eating in a bid to slim down - saying she once lost 20lbs between fittings.

Got it all covered: The superstar singer remained relatively demure in comparison to her usual guises

Covering up: We're used to seeing the singer in barely-there outfits and skimpy underwear

Earlier this month, Gaga left very little to the imagination as she partied at the CFDA Fashion Awards in a see-through black body stocking in New York.

But tonight was a relatively low-key affair for Gaga, who remained relatively covered in her series of outfits.

She opened the show with a performance of Edge of Glory wearing a bejewelled black catsuit, before closing the event with a rendition of Born This Way.

Colourful: She made an outfit change to accept international video of the year for Judas, keeping her flesh under wraps in a printed trouser and jacket combo teamed with her turquoise wig

In a nod to her Grammys performance, Gaga hatched out of an egg, but was kept her flesh under wraps in black trousers and a dramatic ruffled feathered top half.

She stripped her top off in the last minute of the song, but kept her midriff out of sight with her high-waisted, belted trousers.

Earlier in the show she accepted an award, wearing another body covering outfit, a colourful trouser and jacket combo, complete with her turquoise wig.

She eventually de-robed, but rather than a skimpy two-piece the singer was wearing black trousers and buttoned up jacket which revealed a hint of cleavage

The singer was voted the most popular international artist in the fan category, while also taking home the best international video for Judas.

Bieber was the other big winner of the night, joining his girlfriend and host of the event Selena Gomez on stage to accept his two gongs.

The 17-year-old star was voted the favourite artist by ordinary Canadians for his video Somebody to Love, which also features Usher.

He was honoured in the best international Canadian video category for the same video, although shared the award with hip hop star Drake.
